Who We Are

DONKEY

Our first goat to pass away

Donkey was part of the team when we bought the business in 2020.   He was a leader, a lover and a looker.   He died at the ripe ol' age of 11.  Donkey was solid gold, kind, gentle, helpful and easy to love.  You are missed handsome dude!

Rootbeer Float

RIP 2011 - 2023

Also know as Chimuelo - toothless in Spanish. He retired from brush eating and wanted soft food only. He LOVED mushy bananas and had his eye on Lucy Loo! He died unexpectedly and quickly in December of 2023. I miss him so!

HAZEL NUT

RIP 2012 - 2024

Hazel Nut came to us from Washington once her family could no longer take care of her. She fit right in, except that first Summer when she lost a horn in barn brawl. We believe she got cancer in her udder and was in great pain and so we made the difficult decision to have her put down. We miss you and your spunk, Hazel Nut!

BRODY

RIP 2018-2024

This little one broke our hearts.  He was Buckley's twin! They loved hanging out together.  They came to us in 2024 when their family moved away from their hobby farm.   He got sick, went down hard and fast and all the love and vet attention we could muster couldn't save him.  Buckley sends his love!

PEBBLES

RIP 2020- 2024

Life doesn't always work out the way we hope it will.  Pebbles was the daughter of Jinx, sister to Bam Bam. Pebbles was the perfect mix of the beauty and the beast - especially when it came time to get back in the trailer.  I think I still have some bruises to remember you by, you lil' Stinker!  She was a super Barbie fan and loved to wear pink!

CAPTAIN ROOTBEER

RIP 2012 -2025

Captain Rootbeer had the most kissable face and the sweetest demeanor.  He was one of our biggest goats, topping out at 235 lbs! He made it to 13 fighting all the way.  We'll always remember using a hoist to get you back on your feet after a few health events.   No one ever loved a rotten banana as much as the Captain.   Miss you so and so does your boyfriend, Chainsaw!

SMORES

RIP 2013 - 2025

Oh, how I loved this goat.  He followed me around the property like a dog and knew how to play me for an endless supply of bananas and peanuts.  Smores had very arthritic knees and didn't go out on jobs the last couple of years.  I asked him to make it through the Summer with me and he did.  He didn't want to have those rusty knees click through another Winter so we put him down before Fall settled in.  I still miss your marshmallow middle and your big brown eyes.

MR BROWN

RIP 2012 - 2025

Mr Brown hung with Captain Rootbeer most of the time. They missed their buddy, Donkey, who left us in 2023.  So maybe 2025 was they year they all got to meet up again in that big blackberry patch in the sky.  Mr Brown could rock a "goat-tee" beard like no other. He loved giving and receiving full body rubs and was great with little kids.  He got cancer and it showed up all over his body in his lymph nodes.   A trooper til the end -- he would have just kept eating if cancer hadn't been eating him.

MOCHA

RIP 2012-2025

He was part of the gang of 4 originals - Chalupa, Chimichanga, Smores and there was Mocha - never caused a bit of trouble, easy to load, easy to please and told the best stories.   Easy up to the end.  One morning we just found him gone, no heads up, no illness, no suffering, just laying comfortably on side in one of the apartments - like he drifted off to goat heaven in his sleep.  He made it easy - even his death and for that I appreciate you so.  Tears my handsome boy...
